Service Area
Birchtree’s day school is in Portsmouth, NH – but our impact reaches across the New Hampshire Seacoast and beyond. Consultation and services by Birchtree’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBAs®) are offered throughout New England. In-person direct services by Clinical Instructors and RBTs are typically offered in southern New Hampshire, southern Maine, and northern Massachusetts.
New Hampshire’s Only Year-Round School Serving Students With Autism Exclusively
For students with autism, Birchtree offers a special education day school in Portsmouth, NH. This intensive autism program offers individualized instruction and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy year-round. It’s a non-public special education day school approved by the New Hampshire Department of Education to serve students with autism in grades preK-12.
Bringing Birchtree's Behavior Expertise to You
Most of the people Birchtree helps never enter our school walls. Why? Because Birchtree has an extensive Outreach Program that brings its behavior expertise to public schools, family homes, workplaces, and community settings in northern New England.
Birchtree’s Outreach Program helps individuals with behavior challenges, autism, and/or other disabilities to increase their well-being and productivity. Services are available for individuals ages three through adulthood – as well as for those individuals’ families, schools, and communities.
