December 2, 2025, marks the 50th anniversary of the signing of the first federal legislation focused on special education in the United States. This milestone legislation, now known as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), makes a difference to many of the students and families that Birchtree serves.
We’re grateful to Birchtree’s special educators for their incredible work ensuring that our day school students get the individualized instruction they need to learn and grow.
