Do you or a loved one with autism struggle with blood draws, dental work, doctor visits, or other essential healthcare?
Then please consider applying to participate in Birchtree’s Healthcare Accessibility Pilot Program this summer!
The program is open to youth and adults with autism, their families, and their caregivers.
In the pilot program, four selected applicants will:
- Receive consultation by a Birchtree Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in July & August.
- Focus those consultation hours on helping youth and adults with autism and their caregivers to effectively participate in healthcare appointments.
- Receive grant-funded scholarship support toward travel and consultation fees.
Given that funding is limited for BCBA travel, priority for the pilot program will be granted to applicants seeking consultation within 45 miles of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
