On this World Autism Awareness Day, as we celebrate the start of Autism Acceptance Month, we’re feeling grateful to these local businesses and organizations. They have all gone beyond simple “awareness” to be especially supportive and welcoming to Birchtree’s students with autism.
Birchtree’ students travel to these places to learn job skills, independent-living skills, water-safety awareness, healthy exercise habits, and more.
